Basil Spaghetti with San Marino Corned Tuna


Basil Spaghetti

Ingredients:

  • 100g spaghetti
  • 20g sundried tomatoes chopped
  • 10g red onions sliced into ?inch rings
  • 10g minced garlic
  • 1 can San Marino Corned Tuna
  • 10g basil
  • 2-3 tbsp olive oil
  • 20g parmesan cheese
  • 5g parsley for garnish
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Procedure

  • Cook spaghetti according to package directions
  • Sautee the onions and garlic in olive oil
  • Add the San Marino Corned Tuna and tomatoes and continue saut?ng for 3-4 mins
  • Season with salt and pepper
  • Turn off the heat and toss in basil and mix
  • Plate and garnish with parmesan cheese and parlsey

San Marino Corned Tuna Pizza


Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 2 pcs. Tortilla Bread
  • 1 can San Marino Corned Tuna
  • 4-5 tbsps. ready-made pizza sauce
  • 1 tbsp. capers
  • 10g red onions thinly sliced
  • 5g minced dill
  • ?cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 tbsps parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper TT

Procedure

  • Spoon tomato sauce on tortilla bread in an even manner up to ?inch off the edges
  • Layer San Marino Corned Tuna, capers and onions on top of the pizza
  • Grate mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top of pizza
  • Season with salt and pepper
  • Shred dill on top and drizzle with olive oil
  • Bake pizza in 450 degrees F oven until crust is crisp

San Marino Corned Tuna Nicoise Salad


Nicoise Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1/8 cup lemon juice
  • 3/8 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 shallot minced
  • ?tsp fresh thyme
  • 1 tsp anchovies
  • Salt and Pepper TT
  • 1 can San Marino Corned Tuna
  • 1 hard boiled egg, sliced
  • 1 small potato large dice, boiled
  • 4-5 black olives, sliced
  • 6-7 green beans, blanched
  • 6-7 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tsp capers
  • 1 small head lolo rosso lettuce

Procedure

  • Whisk 1st 8 ingredients together to make vinaigrette
  • Toss the rest of the ingredients in ?of the vinaigrette except for the lettuce
  • Toss lettuce in the rest of the vinaigrette
  • Arrange lettuce in random fashion on plate and layer the rest of the ingredients on top

San Marino Chili Corned Tuna Laing


Laing

Ingredients:

  • 1 can San Marino Corned Tuna
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 2 pcs. sileng labuyo, sliced
  • 2 cups gabi leaves
  • 1 tsp sliced ginger
  • 1 small red onion julienned
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 20g dried shrimps chopped roughly
  • 1-2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and Pepper TT

Procedure

  • Sautee onions, garlic, chilis and dried shrimps in oil
  • Add San Marino Corned Tuna and continue saut?ng for 2-3 minutes
  • Pour in coconut milk and simmer
  • Once simmering, add gabi leaves and ginger and simmer until leaves wilt
  • Season with salt and pepper

San Marino Corned Tuna Baked Mac


Baked Mac

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 can San Marino Corned Tuna
  • ?tbsp oregano
  • 3 tbsps unsalted butter
  • ?cup flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 chopped white onion
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • ?cup cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup provolone cheese
  • 2 tsps paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper TT

Procedure

  • Cook macaroni to package instructions
  • Melt butter and cook flour until in it until coated. Pour in milk and whisk to form roux
  • Mix in ?grated cheddar and provolone cheese until melted and set aside
  • Sautee onions and garlic in olive oil
  • Add San Marino Corned Tuna and continue saut?ng for 2-3 mins
  • Add the macaroni and cheese sauce and season with salt, pepper, oregano and paprika
  • Place in a baking pan and top with remaining cheese. Bake for 20-30 mins in 350 deg F oven until cheese melts and browns a bit

San Marino Corned Tuna Sandwich


Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices wheat/rye bread
  • 1 can San Marino Corned Tuna
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 hard boiled egg, mashed
  • 10 g dill, minced
  • 1 small shallot, minced
  • 1 tbsp capers
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt and pepper TT
  • 1 salad tomato sliced thinly
  • 2 leaves lolo rosso lettuce
  • 1 cup potato chips

Procedure

  • In a bowl, mix together San Marino Corned Tuna, mayonnaise, lemon juice, egg, dill, shallots, capers, sugar, salt and pepper and set aside and chill
  • Lightly grill bread until crisp (you can also just toast the bread in toaster)
  • To assemble, layer lettuce then tomato on top of 1 slice of bread. Add the tuna filling then top with the other slice of bread and slice in half diagonally
  • Serve on plate with chips

San Marino Chili Corned Tuna Nachos


Nachos

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag nacho chips
  • 1 can San Marino Corned Tuna
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ?tsp paprika
  • 1/8 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper TT
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • ?cup sliced black olives
  • ?cup melted cheese sauce (Cheeze Whiz)
  • ?cup ready-made tomato salsa
  • ?cup diced mango
  • ?cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/8 cup sliced jalapeno peppers

Procedure

  • Heat olive oil and saut?San Marino Corned Tuna for 2-3 mins. Season with Paprika, cumin, salt and pepper
  • On a large plate, layer shredded lettuce then top with the nacho chips
  • Evenly layer on top the rest of the ingredients except for the grated cheese
  • Top with Corned Tuna and finally layer the grated cheese on top

San Marino Corned Tuna Chili


Chili

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans San Marino Corned Tuna
  • 2 white onions diced
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 green bell pepper diced
  • 2 tbsps chili powder
  • ?tbsp cumin
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsps chopped cilantro
  • ?cup water
  • ?cup grated cheddar cheese
  • ?cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper TT

Procedure

  • Sautee onions, garlic and bell pepper in olive oil for 2-3 mins
  • Add the San Marino Corned Tuna and continue saut?ng for 2 more minutes
  • Add the rest of the ingredients except for the cheese, cilantro and sour cream and simmer for 45 mins
  • Once cooked, place in a large bowl and top with cilantro, extra chopped onion, sour cream and cheddar cheese
